Givanas Cosmetics Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Analyst and Compliance Officer to support financial reporting, compliance monitoring, auditing activities, and business performance analysis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, risk management, and the delivery of high-quality financial advisory services.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and conducting financial audits to evaluate financial statements and internal control systems.
• Review financial records, reports, and documentation to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and compliance issues.
• Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Assess compliance with applicable financial regulations, standards, and legal requirements.
• Prepare audit reports, work papers, financial analyses, and management reports for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions and project evaluations.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify weaknesses in internal control environments.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to gather information and provide professional financial guidance.
• Present audit findings, recommendations, and financial insights to management and clients.
• Ensure all audit and compliance activities are carried out in line with professional standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and financial analyses.
• Stay updated on industry developments, financial regulations, and compliance best practices.
Job Requirements
• ICAN qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including experience in an audit firm.
• Previous experience with a Big Four audit firm will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial auditing, compliance, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
• Experience in ERP implementation, preferably Odoo software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
