PalmPay Limited is hiring a Fund Management Specialist to support its treasury operations and ensure efficient liquidity management across its payment ecosystem. This role focuses on cash flow monitoring, reconciliation, and financial risk control to maintain seamless transaction processing and optimal fund utilisation. It is suited for candidates with strong analytical skills and experience in financial operations within fast-paced environments.

Location:Opebi, Ikeja – Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the company’s cash position to ensure adequate funding across all products and payment channels
• Perform daily bank and wallet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly
• Analyse cash flow forecasts by comparing expected inflows and outflows with actual performance
• Optimise liquidity by allocating funds efficiently across channels while minimising idle cash
• Evaluate cost of funds and implement strategies to reduce funding costs
• Track settlement cycles and prioritise channels with faster cash conversion for improved efficiency
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including liquidity and settlement risks
• Collaborate with banking partners and payment providers to resolve transaction issues
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, audit standards, and internal controls
• Maintain accurate records of financial instruments such as fixed deposits and treasury placements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in treasury, fund management, or financial operations, preferably in fintech or financial services
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, liquidity planning, and reconciliation processes
• Experience with payment systems, banking platforms, and financial tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
