Wisdom Kwati Smart City is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head, Media Department to lead its media, branding, and communication strategy. The role involves overseeing both digital and traditional platforms to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and overall business growth. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in media leadership and public engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive media and branding strategies across digital, print, and broadcast platforms.
• Lead content creation, including news writing, reporting, interviews, on-camera presentations, and multimedia production.
• Manage public relations, media house relationships, and corporate communication to strengthen brand reputation.
• Drive digital media growth, social media strategy, and high-impact awareness campaigns.
• Provide creative direction and leadership to media teams, ensuring consistent messaging and performance tracking.
• Handle crisis communication and safeguard the company’s public image.

Requirements & Instructions

• HND or BSc in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in media, journalism, branding, or marketing.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong professional journalism skills: news writing, reporting, interviewing, and storytelling.
• On-camera presenting and spokesperson experience (TV, radio, digital platforms).
• Expertise in digital media, social media growth, and content strategy.
• Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Proven record of delivering high-visibility media campaigns and managing media relations.
