Head of Operations Boctrust Microfinance Bank

A strategic and detail-oriented Head of Operations is required to oversee daily banking operations and ensure seamless service delivery. The role involves optimizing operational processes, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and maintaining efficiency across core banking systems within a microfinance banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end bank operations including account management, funds transfer processing, clearing activities, and vault management
• Manage and administer the BankOne core banking application, ensuring data integrity, system security, and accurate transaction processing
• Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce operational risks and improve service efficiency
• Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations and other applicable microfinance banking guidelines
• Lead, supervise, and develop the operations team to maintain high performance, accountability, and service excellence

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• 7–10 years of experience in banking operations
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role within a Microfinance Bank
• Strong hands-on experience with BankOne core banking software is mandatory
• Candidates without direct BankOne experience will not be considered
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
