Are you detail-oriented with a knack for risk assessment? Join our team as an Underwriting Officer and play a key role in ensuring financial stability and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance applications for compliance and assess clients’ financial and background information.
• Develop competitive insurance quotes and negotiate policy terms with brokers or policyholders.
• Maintain comprehensive records of underwriting decisions while adhering to applicable insurance laws.
• Manage and build a profitable portfolio by balancing risk exposure and predicting future results.

Requirements:

• Strong numeracy and statistical skills with a solid understanding of risk management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and business presentation skills.
• B.Sc./HND in a related field with at least 1 year of underwriting or related experience.
• Organizational prowess and a deep understanding of the insurance field.
