Legal Intern

Job Description

Greenhouse Capital is looking to hire a Legal Intern. This is a great fit if you have completed both Law School (called to the Bar) and NYSC (in either order) and you’re curious about the legal work inside an investment firm active across Africa and MENA, as well as our capital formation and ecosystem-building work. You’re welcome to apply immediately after completing whichever of the two (NYSC or Call to Bar) comes last for you; there’s no waiting period.

Benefits

  • You’ll get exposure to founder advisory work, cross-jurisdictional fund structuring, contract reviews, legal diligence, and investor & portfolio relations. I’ll be working closely with whoever joins, so expect mentorship, honest feedback, and a fair amount of learning by doing.
  • This is a 12-month traineeship based in Lagos (remote-friendly), with the opportunity to convert to a full-time Legal Analyst role on successful completion of the programme.

Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV, a short write-up on why you’d like to work at Greenhouse, and (optionally) one short writing or legal-reasoning sample to media@greenhouse.capital using the Job Title as the subject of the email.
