Job Description
A reputable organization located in Victoria Island, Lagos is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of its facilities. The role involves ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the organization.
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N400,000 – N450,000 monthly
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to reduce equipment breakdowns
- Supervise maintenance technicians, assign tasks, and conduct regular site inspections to assess repair needs
- Manage maintenance budgets, monitor inventory of spare parts, and liaise with external vendors and contractors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting routine safety audits
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize operational disruptions
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar technical supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, facility management, and equipment troubleshooting
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships effectively
