Job Description
Topgate Automations and Controls Limited is seeking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of our machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on technical role for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a practical approach to maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Carry out installation, servicing, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical equipment.
- Identify potential equipment issues and recommend appropriate maintenance solutions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requirements.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of NABTEB or OND in Mechanical Technology or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience* as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
- Proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
