Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP, MySQL, and modern development frameworks.
  • Design, develop, test, and support RESTful APIs and system integrations using XML and JSON.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
  • Ensure applications meet coding standards, architecture guidelines, security best practices, and quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in PHP development, software engineering, or application support.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular.
  • Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs using XML and JSON.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CodeIgniter MVC framework.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, SDLC, and software design principles.
  • Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Checkmarx.
  • Knowledge of web application security best practices, including the OWASP Top Ten.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, testing, and communication skills.
