First Excelsia Professional Services Limited is recruiting on behalf of a client in the fashion industry for the position of Quality Control Associate. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced quality assurance professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high production standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that garments meet quality requirements before reaching customers.

Job Responsibilities
• Inspect garments at different stages of production to assess stitching, finishing, sizing, and overall quality.
• Identify and report defects including fabric damage, poor workmanship, incorrect trims, missing labels, and dye inconsistencies.
• Monitor dyed fabrics to ensure compliance with approved colour and pattern specifications.
• Communicate quality issues promptly to relevant production teams for corrective action.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality checks, and defect reports.
• Prepare regular quality reports and highlight recurring production issues.
• Provide constructive feedback to tailors, dyers, and production personnel to improve product quality.
• Support troubleshooting activities and recommend solutions to reduce recurring defects.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure garments are properly pressed, labelled, and packaged according to brand standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and enhance quality outcomes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a production role within the fashion or manufacturing industry.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Good documentation, record-keeping, and reporting abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
