Revenue Assurance Officer
Job Description
A firm is seeking an analytical and commercially driven Revenue Assurance Officer to safeguard revenue, identify and recover revenue leakage, support pricing and profitability decisions, and provide accurate revenue forecasting and financial insights across the business.
Salary: ₦230,000 monthly
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor revenue, ARPU, subscriber growth, churn, margins, discounts, and promotional performance.
- Validate pricing, tariffs, bundles, billing, and payment gateway collections.
- Identify revenue leakage, billing gaps, and reconciliation issues and drive timely resolution.
- Support pricing, product launches, promotions, and commercial decisions through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Prepare revenue forecasts, budgets, dashboards, and management reports.
- Analyze cost-to-serve, CAC, margins, and product/channel profitability.
- Ensure data integrity across CRM, billing, ERP, and network systems.
- Support automation, BI initiatives, UAT, and revenue assurance controls.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience* in Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Revenue Assurance.
- Experience in Telecommunications, ISP, FTTH, or Infrastructure is preferred.
- Strong financial modelling, revenue analysis, forecasting, and commercial acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Good understanding of ARPU, churn, unit economics, revenue models, and FTTH cost structures.
- Knowledge of IFRS revenue principles, cash flow forecasting, and banking/payment operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work under pressure.
- Professional certification is an added advantage.
