Job Description

A leading cloud-focused enterprise software company, Unit4, is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join its Global Cloud Infrastructure Team. This role focuses on managing and optimizing cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across global systems.

Job Responsibilities / Program Highlights

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and on-premises data centers
  • Support and optimize enterprise-level infrastructure for commercial service delivery
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and Active Directory
  • Manage virtual environments using VMware and other hypervisors
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and uptime
  • Provide support for incidents, including occasional after-hours and weekend on-call duties

Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server architecture and Active Directory
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and software-defined infrastructure
  • Experience managing virtual environments using VMware or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Flexibility to support after-hours and on-call operations

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft certifications
  • Experience automating Windows environments using PowerShell or similar tools
  • Familiarity with VPN setups, file transfer servers, Microsoft SQL, and PKI infrastructure
  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
