Senior Credit Analyst
Job Description
Synafare is a credit-led B2B marketplace and embedded finance platform powering Africa’s clean energy supply chain across solar, HVAC, and EV. We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst.
Location: Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Lagos
Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 Net Monthly
Work Mode: Hybrid (2days onsite)
Key Requirements
- Above 3 years of experience in lending, credit risk, collections, microfinance, fintech or audit of lenders, including at least 2 years assessing and managing a loan portfolio.
- Credit assessment: reading bank statements and financials, cash-flow based underwriting and debt service coverage, scorecards, security review and KYC/KYB checks.
- Collections: structured contact calendars, objection handling, negotiating remedies within policy and escalation discipline.
- Portfolio analytics: PAR buckets, vintage curves, concentration, provisioning inputs and covenant maths; strong Excel and Google Sheets (lookups, SUMIFS, data validation, formula-driven workbooks).
- Systems: loan management or backoffice applications, credit bureau portals (CRC) and direct debit mandate platforms.
- Good communication skillst.
