Job Description

A firm is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. This role is for someone who is strong in MERN and TypeScript, experienced across modern engineering patterns, and capable of thinking architecturally about product, data, permissions, integrations, security. testing, and maintainability.

 

 

Location: Abuja

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product ideas, client requirements and business opportunities into scalable technical designs.
  • Define modules, services, APls, data modeis, integration patterns, permissions, workflows and reporting structures.
  • Build enterprise-grade full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express js or NestJS, React,js, Node,js and TypeScript.
    artificial intelligence environments or Al governance.
  • Design and implement APls,dashboards, workflow modules, reporting features, role-based access, audit trails, notifications and integrations.
  • Apply disciplined testing, Git workflows and release hygiene.
  • Use Al tools responsibly for architecture exploration, refactoring, test design, documentation and code review.
  • Document technical decisions, assumptions, risks, APls and deployment notes clearly.

 

Key Requirements

  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
  • Strong Nodejs, Expressjs or NestJS, GO, Reactjs, MongoDB, REST API, authentication, authorization and role-based access control experience.
  • Practical experience with database design, APl architecture, modular architecture, background processing, coching. integration design and technical documentation.
  • Enterprise product experience involving complex users permissions, workflows, reporting, audit trails, integrations or regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to review code, mentor engineers and lead technical discussions.
  • Experience with public sector, fintech, identity. ESG, geospatial or Al-enabled enterprise platforms.
  • Experience designing systems for Nigerian or African enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, local language model tools, private artificial intelligence environments or Al governance frameworks.
  • Experience turing rough product ideas into structured technical plans for proposals, demonstrations and implementation teams.
