Job Description
A Senior Procurement Officer position is available at Librod Energy Services Limited to lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities. The role focuses on developing procurement strategies, managing supplier partnerships, reducing costs, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favourable business agreements
- Monitor procurement budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Streamline procurement processes to improve efficiency and transparency
- Collaborate with internal departments to support procurement requirements and resolve supply-related issues
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal standards, and industry regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software tools
- Strong understanding of procurement regulations, market trends, and risk management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
