Job Description

Moniepoint Incorporated is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for its financial products. This role is ideal for an experienced UX/UI professional who enjoys solving complex design challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring other designers. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving product usability while contributing to the growth of a scalable design system.

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final interface design.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve product performance.
• Design and maintain scalable UI components while contributing to the organization’s design system.
• Promote accessibility and inclusive design principles across digital products.
• Create engaging micro-interactions and motion designs that enhance usability.
• Use analytics and user insights to optimize the overall customer experience.
• Mentor junior designers and encourage design excellence within the team.
• Stay updated on fintech trends, UX best practices, and emerging design technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior product design or UX/UI design role.
• Strong expertise in user experience, interaction design, information architecture, and responsive design.
• Excellent visual design skills, including typography, layouts, grids, and color theory.
• Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations.
• Proficiency with UX analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar.
• Advanced knowledge of Figma, including Auto Layout, component variants, design tokens, and interactive prototyping.
• Familiarity with atomic design principles and scalable design systems.
• Experience using motion design tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or Principle.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
• Previous experience mentoring designers and collaborating within agile product teams.
• Experience designing products in fintech or SaaS environments is an advantage.
