A logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and expand its client base in Kano. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate should have solid industry knowledge and a proven ability to close deals and manage key accounts effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the logistics and freight forwarding market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term business retention
- Conduct market research to identify prospects and monitor competitors
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and coordinate with operations teams to ensure service delivery
- Manage key accounts and regularly engage clients to understand their evolving needs
- Resolve customer issues promptly by collaborating with internal teams
- Track sales activities, manage pipeline, and maintain accurate records using CRM tools
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Follow up after sales to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years proven sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving revenue goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
