Job Description

ETC Workforce Services Limited is recruiting a skilled Solar Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar energy systems for residential and commercial clients. The role involves ensuring optimal system performance, supporting renewable energy adoption, and providing technical expertise for solar installations, inverters, and hybrid power solutions.

Location: Abuja (FCT) / Lagos (with oversight of nationwide business operations)

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and commission solar panels, inverters, batteries, and hybrid energy systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive servicing to ensure system efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in solar power systems and electrical components.
  • Conduct site assessments and recommend suitable solar solutions for customers.
  • Demonstrate the operation and benefits of solar products to clients.
  • Maintain accurate service records and installation documentation.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Support client acquisition efforts by providing technical product knowledge during consultations.

Requirements
  • Technical Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in solar system installation and maintenance.
  • Practical knowledge of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and hybrid power systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and solar energy systems.
  • Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and installation standards.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel when required.
Salary

N250,000 – N350,000 per month (inclusive of allowances, HMO, and Pension).
