Job Description

Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a UX Researcher to support the product team in understanding user needs, behaviors, and experiences. This role is ideal for a curious and analytical professional who enjoys uncovering insights through research and translating findings into meaningful product improvements. The successful candidate will work closely with designers and product managers to ensure user-centered decisions are made throughout the product development process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and support qualitative and quantitative research activities, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Coordinate research logistics by recruiting, scheduling, and managing study participants.
  • Conduct and assist with user interviews and usability testing sessions while documenting key findings.
  • Analyze research data and help develop reports, journey maps, personas, and other research deliverables.
  • Maintain and organize the research repository to ensure findings are easily accessible across teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate research throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on emerging UX research methods, tools, and best practices, sharing relevant knowledge with the team.

Job Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in UX research, market research, or a related field involving user behavior analysis.
  • Good understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Experience using research and survey tools such as Maze, Typeform, Google Forms, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Background in Social Sciences, Psychology, Design, or a related discipline is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in fintech or startup environments is desirable.
  • Passion for understanding user behavior and improving digital experiences within the Nigerian market.
