Assistant Bakery Manager
Job Description
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Bakery Manager to support daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our bakery. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and hands-on experience in bakery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bakery operations, including production schedules and staff supervision.
- Ensure quality control of baked goods and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Train and mentor bakery staff to improve productivity and maintain high performance.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new recipes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Business Management, or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in supervising staff and managing bakery operations is essential.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
