Network Engineer Needed
Job Description
A reputable organization based in Abuja is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistent connectivity
- Enforce network security protocols to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access
- Conduct regular assessments and suggest improvements or upgrades for optimal network performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of network setups, configurations, and processes
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years hands-on experience in a network engineering role
- Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience working with both Linux and Windows Server environments
- Proficiency in network monitoring and security tools
