Job Description
Vouch Nigeria Limited is seeking a highly experienced Chief Security Officer to oversee security operations across the organization. The role requires strong leadership, expert knowledge of security protocols, and the ability to maintain a safe and compliant environment for assets, personnel, and company operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce full compliance with established security policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Oversee security orientation, weekly briefings, and coordination of internal and external security personnel.
- Implement systems that reduce property loss, financial loss, and security breaches across the organization.
- Monitor the functionality of security infrastructure, including CCTV, alarms, and physical access controls.
- Support emergency management planning, contingency procedures, and high-risk event security.
- Prepare and review incident reports and ensure accurate documentation of all security-related occurrences.
- Investigate suspected or reported cases of theft, misconduct, or breaches, and recommend corrective measures.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies on matters involving criminal activity on company premises.
- Conduct periodic security audits and advise management on identified gaps and improvement needs.
- Coordinate activities between the security unit, other departments, and third-party security providers.
- Manage response protocols for critical incidents, civil disturbances, and operational disruptions.
- Develop the annual security budget and follow up on procurement of security equipment.
Requirements
- Must be a retired Army or Navy Officer.
- Strong integrity and confidentiality standards.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- High physical and mental fitness level.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive security mindset.
