CCTV Engineer – African Natural Resources and Mines Limited

Job Description

African Natural Resources and Mines Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Engineer to handle the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of CCTV and integrated security systems. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, optimal performance, and compliance with security, safety, and regulatory standards while providing technical leadership on surveillance-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and commission CCTV systems (IP and analog)
• Maintain and optimize cameras, NVRs/DVRs, servers, and storage infrastructure
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Plan and implement system upgrades, expansions, and technology improvements
• Integrate CCTV systems with access control, alarms, and other security platforms
• Supervise junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and system health audits
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, layouts, and maintenance documentation
• Ensure full compliance with safety policies, company standards, and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience working with CCTV and surveillance systems
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, VMS platforms, and basic cybersecurity principles
• Experience in system design, project execution, and vendor coordination
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings and layouts
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site and provide emergency system support when required
