Job Description

Costarchem Nigeria Limited is recruiting a skilled and commercially aware Civil Engineer to support its growing sales operations. This role is ideal for a professional with technical knowledge of construction chemicals and construction practices, combined with the ability to support customers, prepare quotations, and contribute to business growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to provide technical guidance, product support, and market insights.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely sales quotations in response to customer requests.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams on product selection, usage, and application.
• Guide clients on the proper application of construction chemical products, including admixtures, waterproofing solutions, sealants, and flooring systems.
• Support project management and construction-related activities where required.
• Organize and coordinate technical training sessions, webinars, and product presentations for engineers and industry stakeholders.
• Assist the sales team during technical discussions, site visits, and client meetings.
• Analyze sales performance, product usage data, and market trends to support decision-making.
• Monitor and communicate product updates, improvements, and new product launches.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to increase product awareness and market penetration.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and business development objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of construction chemicals, building materials, project management, or technical sales is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction chemical applications and site operations.
• Experience preparing quotations and responding to technical customer inquiries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and webinars.
• Familiarity with industry brands such as Sika, Fosroc, BASF, Chryso, and similar manufacturers is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to support revenue growth initiatives.
