Job Description

Konstructum Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of civil and structural works across EPCIC projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards and quality requirements. This position is ideal for a technically skilled professional with extensive site experience and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil engineering activities including earthworks, foundation construction, drainage systems, structural works, and infrastructure development.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate site implementation.
• Monitor construction progress and prepare regular reports on project status, milestones, and site activities.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved designs.
• Conduct inspections and enforce quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout project execution.
• Coordinate civil works with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, procurement, and project management teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites.
• Prepare engineering documentation, inspection records, test reports, as-built drawings, and project close-out documents.
• Contribute technical expertise to bid preparation, tender submissions, and business development initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10–12 years of relevant civil engineering experience within construction, EPC, or EPCIC environments.
• Strong site-based experience in infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• COREN registration is preferred or candidates should be actively working towards certification.
• PMP certification or other project management qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Relevant safety certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH are advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, construction methods, and project delivery processes.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, construction documentation, and HSE regulations.
• Experience with Primavera P6, STAAD Pro, Revit, BIM tools, or construction management platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and project management skills.
