Job Description

Skache Integrated Services Limited is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the engineering development, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of a CNG/LNG gas infrastructure project. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring engineering excellence, regulatory compliance, operational safety, and successful project delivery while working closely with EPC contractors, OEMs, regulators, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead front-end engineering design (FEED), detailed engineering, and technical specification development for gas infrastructure projects.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, layout drawings, and HAZOP reports.
  • Provide engineering support during procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and plant start-up.
  • Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and system performance validation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to obtain required approvals and permits.
  • Develop operating manuals, maintenance strategies, and training materials for plant operations.
  • Support early plant operations by resolving technical issues and optimizing system performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in gas infrastructure project engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
  • Proven experience with CNG or LNG projects, gas compression, transportation, and decompression systems.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering standards such as ASME, API, NFPA, and ISO.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating with contractors, OEMs, and regulatory authorities.
  • Professional certifications such as COREN, PMP, or PE will be an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and technical report writing skills.
