Job Description

Prodigy Microfinance Bank is seeking a business-focused and results-driven Credit and Marketing Officer to support growth through effective marketing strategies, credit sourcing, and customer acquisition. This role is critical to attracting loans and deposits, strengthening market presence, and driving sustainable business development within a regulated financial environment. The ideal candidate is currently working within a financial institution on the Island and understands the dynamics of banking, credit, and marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit-driven marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Source, manage, and grow loan and deposit portfolios through targeted marketing and relationship management.
• Conduct market research to identify new customer segments, products, and growth opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, brand activations, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support business development and lead generation initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing and credit performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, lending policies, and internal controls.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in a managerial or senior-level role within banking, microfinance, or fintech.
• MBA or relevant master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in credit marketing, loan mobilization, and deposit acquisition.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, lending processes, and digital financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to scale portfolios, drive revenue, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
