Job Description

A leading global logistics company is seeking a highly experienced Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership across a diversified group with interests in Transportation & Logistics, Real Estate Management, Aftersales & Spare Parts, and Sales of Heavy Trucks & Equipment. This executive role is suited to a commercially astute finance leader with strong multi-sector experience, capital management expertise, and the ability to support high-level strategic decision-making in a growth-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy in alignment with long-term corporate objectives and growth plans.
• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and the Board on financial performance, investments, capital allocation, and risk management.
• Oversee group-wide financial planning, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial models.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance across all business units, ensuring profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Lead consolidated financial reporting in line with IFRS, ensuring strong internal controls, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage treasury operations, including cash flow, banking relationships, foreign exchange exposure, and funding structures.
• Drive effective tax planning, risk management, and insurance coverage across fleet, assets, and operations.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, supporting talent development, succession planning, and performance management.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
• Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles within complex, multi-business organizations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, treasury management, and corporate finance.
• Demonstrated ability to work at executive and Board level, providing strategic financial insight.
• High level of commercial awareness, leadership capability, and analytical skills.
