Coldroom Technician
Job Description
Ocean Lord Limited is hiring a skilled and dependable Coldroom Technician to support cold storage and refrigeration operations across multiple locations. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing coldroom systems to ensure consistent performance, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair coldroom and refrigeration systems.
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on coldroom units and associated equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
- Monitor temperature controls and ensure systems operate within required standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Comply with safety regulations, technical standards, and company procedures at all times.
- Provide prompt technical support during equipment breakdowns or emergency situations.
Requirements
- Technical certification or diploma in Refrigeration, Cooling Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a Coldroom Technician or Refrigeration Technician.
- Age range: 25–35 years.
- Strong understanding of coldroom systems, compressors, condensers, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
