IT & Systems Auditor (Fintech Company – Alan & Grant)
Job Description
A reputable fintech organization is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT & Systems Auditor to support the evaluation, security, and efficiency of its technology environment. This role is critical to ensuring IT systems, processes, and controls align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and business objectives within a fast-paced financial technology setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic audits of IT systems, applications, and processes to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability
- Review IT policies, procedures, and internal controls for compliance with regulatory and industry standards
- Identify system vulnerabilities, operational risks, and control gaps, and recommend practical corrective actions
- Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, including access management, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery plans
- Work closely with IT, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure technology systems support business and regulatory goals
- Prepare clear and detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and actionable recommendations
- Stay informed on emerging fintech regulations, cybersecurity risks, and IT audit best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT audit, systems audit, or a similar role, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services
- Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management principles
- Practical experience working with IT systems, applications, and databases
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) will be an added advantage
