Job Description

The Revenue Management Route Analyst is responsible for monitoring route performance, supporting revenue strategies, and providing data-driven insights to guide tactical and strategic decisions across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage revenue performance for assigned domestic, regional, and/or international routes
  • Optimize seat inventory through booking class controls, availability management, and forecast adjustments
  • Analyze historical booking data, seasonality, and market trends to produce accurate demand forecasts
  • Track booking curves, pick-up trends, load factors, yields, and RASK by route and flight
  • Identify underperforming routes or flights and recommend corrective revenue actions
  • Support fare structure reviews, tactical pricing actions, and promotional initiatives
  • Monitor competitive pricing and ensure correct fare availability across all sales channels
  • Support revenue decision-making during disruptions, including overbooking, cancellations, and aircraft changes
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with Network Planning, Commercial Scheduling, Sales, Distribution, and Pricing teams
  • Use Revenue Management and PSS tools to manage data accuracy and support system testing where required

Key Performance Indicators

  • Route revenue and yield growth on assigned routes
  • Load factor optimization across the network
  • Forecast accuracy with minimal variance between projected and actual revenue
  • Timely and accurate submission of all revenue performance reports
  • Effectiveness of implemented revenue initiatives per quarter

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Aviation Management, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in airline revenue management, pricing, or commercial analysis
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of airline inventory control, fare structures, and distribution channels
  • Experience working with PSS or Revenue Management systems; Hitit experience is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
