Job Description

A reputable freight forwarding and logistics company in Lagos is hiring a results-driven Sales Executive to grow revenue through new client acquisition, account management, and strategic sales initiatives. The role suits a commercially minded professional with proven experience in logistics sales and strong relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads and convert prospects into active clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Build, manage, and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Manage key accounts and resolve client issues promptly
  • Conduct post-sale follow-ups and maintain accurate CRM records

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve revenue targets
  • Good understanding of logistics processes, shipping documentation, and service offerings
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision

Compensation
• Salary: N300,000 – N500,000
• Commission and quarterly performance bonus
