Job Description

A reputable organization in the financial services sector is seeking a results-driven Deposit Mobilization Officer to drive deposit growth and expand its customer base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing funds, building strong client relationships, and promoting savings and investment products to support liquidity and business growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Source and mobilize deposits from individuals, SMEs, corporate organizations, and other target customers
• Identify and acquire new clients to grow the institution’s deposit portfolio
• Conduct regular client visits, follow-ups, and engagement activities to ensure customer retention
• Identify emerging market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new customer segments
• Promote savings and investment products to prospective and existing customers
• Track deposit performance and provide periodic reports to management
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure proper documentation compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or deposit mobilization within a microfinance bank
• Experience in microfinance banking is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of financial products and customer relationship management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong sales, negotiation, and networking skills
• Target-driven with a results-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism

Compensation

• Competitive Salary (N200,000 – N500,000 per month)
