M-KOPA Nigeria is recruiting a Telesales Representative – Inbound to join its Customer Retention team. This role is ideal for customer-focused professionals with experience in telesales, call center operations, or customer service. The successful candidate will assist customers with product upgrades, provide support, identify sales opportunities, and help customers maximize the value of M-KOPA products and services.

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer inquiries relating to device upgrades, product requests, and service offerings.
• Verify customer information and assess customer needs to recommend suitable products and plans.
• Identify and convert upselling opportunities during customer interactions.
• Provide support for device and application-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and professional service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and interaction details using CRM systems and digital tools.
• Meet daily performance, sales, and customer service targets.
• Manage multiple customer interactions efficiently while maintaining service quality.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a call center, customer service, telesales, or sales-related role.
• Proven ability to build trust and engage customers effectively over the phone.
• Strong verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues professionally.
• Experience using CRM platforms and other digital business tools.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
