Job Description
A leading global delivery platform under the Delivery Hero Group is hiring a Sr Finance Analyst to support its Nigeria operations. This role sits within the Finance & Strategy team and focuses on financial operations oversight, financial planning and analysis, process automation, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise core financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers, couriers, and partners.
- Drive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and management reporting.
- Oversee automation initiatives by transitioning manual, spreadsheet-based payment systems into structured automated processes.
- Manage and develop a Finance Analyst, providing mentorship, performance oversight, and strategic guidance.
- Collaborate and negotiate with fintech partners and internal technology teams to optimize payment systems and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and operational deep-dives to identify efficiencies and strategic improvements.
- Work closely with regional stakeholders, HQ FP&A teams, and local operations and commercial teams to ensure alignment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Strategy, Finance Operations, or Audit, preferably within a multinational, tech-driven, or high-growth company.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring direct reports.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
- Solid accounting knowledge, including local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in system automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup or technology-driven environment.
