Job Description

A leading global delivery platform under the Delivery Hero Group is hiring a Sr Finance Analyst to support its Nigeria operations. This role sits within the Finance & Strategy team and focuses on financial operations oversight, financial planning and analysis, process automation, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise core financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers, couriers, and partners.
  • Drive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and management reporting.
  • Oversee automation initiatives by transitioning manual, spreadsheet-based payment systems into structured automated processes.
  • Manage and develop a Finance Analyst, providing mentorship, performance oversight, and strategic guidance.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with fintech partners and internal technology teams to optimize payment systems and reduce operational costs.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and operational deep-dives to identify efficiencies and strategic improvements.
  • Work closely with regional stakeholders, HQ FP&A teams, and local operations and commercial teams to ensure alignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Strategy, Finance Operations, or Audit, preferably within a multinational, tech-driven, or high-growth company.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring direct reports.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
  • Solid accounting knowledge, including local GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in system automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup or technology-driven environment.
