Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Lead at Teco Group

Teco Group is hiring a Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Lead to oversee and enforce quality standards across mechanical engineering projects. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and leadership ability to ensure all processes, materials, and installations meet required specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of quality outcomes and proactively prevent defects and compliance issues.

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N400,000 – N500,000 / month

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and enforcement of QA/QC systems, procedures, and standards across all projects
• Supervise QA/QC personnel, site engineers, and project teams on quality requirements
• Conduct and oversee inspections of mechanical works, materials, and installations
• Review and approve inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records
• Interpret and validate engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Identify non-conformities, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure all project activities comply with approved quality plans and industry standards
• Lead quality audits, site inspections, and project quality reviews
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain quality expectations
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred
• Candidates from other engineering disciplines must demonstrate extensive QA/QC experience in mechanical engineering projects
• Minimum of 5 years relevant QA/QC experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, installation, and inspection processes
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and quality systems implementation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills
