Job Description

A financial services organization is seeking a results-driven Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Marketer to support business growth by acquiring and managing SME clients. The role focuses on expanding the loan portfolio and deposit base while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring credit quality.

Salary: N300,000 Gross Monthly

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new SME clients within target markets
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with SME customers
  • Market financial products and services to drive business growth
  • Conduct preliminary credit assessments and evaluate client businesses
  • Monitor SME loan portfolios to ensure performance and repayment
  • Ensure all onboarding processes comply with KYC and AML regulations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in SME banking, sales, or business development
  • Experience in microfinance or financial services is an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of SME operations and credit analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic financial analysis tools
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
