Ama-Zuma Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled Human Resource Officer to manage core HR functions and support organizational growth. This role is ideal for a mid-level professional with strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
Location: Abule-Egba, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, CV screening, interviews, and reference checks
- Manage onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new employees
- Handle employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and supporting engagement initiatives
- Support performance management processes including appraisals and probation reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems regularly
- Prepare HR reports and provide insights for management decision-making
- Coordinate training programs and track employee development progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MSc is an added advantage)
- 5–7 years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- HR certification such as CIPM or PHR is an added advantage
