Job Description

A leading IT solutions provider is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Support Executive with strong expertise in SQL database management, software support, and cyber security. The role involves maintaining secure systems, resolving technical issues, and ensuring optimal performance of business applications while supporting internal IT operations.

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and security
  • Provide technical support for software applications, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, security risks, and operational issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary
  • Evaluate, test, and support the integration of new software tools and security solutions
  • Assist users through technical support and training while collaborating with internal teams to improve system efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database management systems
  • Understanding of software support processes and enterprise application environments
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of cyber security principles, including network security and vulnerability management
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
