Financial Control & Reporting Manager at Ravenpay Limited

Ravenpay Limited is recruiting a Financial Control & Reporting Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting functions within its microfinance banking operations in Ibadan. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong experience in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and branch operations management, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Supervise transaction processing, ensuring accuracy in postings and proper record-keeping
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity position, and vault operations
• Prepare and submit timely financial reports and regulatory filings
• Handle CBN returns, NDIC reports, and other statutory compliance requirements
• Ensure proper documentation, audit trails, and adherence to internal controls
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes and resolve audit queries
• Identify operational and financial risks and implement control measures
• Supervise branch staff and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Support business growth initiatives and maintain high customer service standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in microfinance banking operations
• Professional certification such as ICAN is an added advantage
• Strong experience with microfinance banking software such as BankOne, Microfin, NCube, Qlik Bank, or similar platforms
• Solid knowledge of transaction posting, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and financial controls
• Good understanding of microfinance operations, credit processes, and compliance frameworks
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
