Area Sales Manager
Job Description
A leading company in the beauty and hair extension industry is seeking an experienced and target-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in Abuja and surrounding areas. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies for hair extension products.
The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, leadership ability, and a proven track record in FMCG or beauty product sales.
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N300,000 – N350,000 monthly
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and effective merchandising across outlets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide regular market intelligence reports.
- Supervise, train, and support field sales representatives to improve performance.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales and performance reports.
- Address customer complaints promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Requirements
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG, cosmetics, beauty, or hair extension sales.
- Strong understanding of the Abuja market and distribution network.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
