Job Description
Bell Oil and Gas Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to drive business growth and manage key customer accounts within the oil and gas sector in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strategic client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and contributing to revenue growth across International Oil Companies (IOCs), National Oil Companies (NOCs), EPC contractors, and Marginal Field Operators.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including IOCs, NOCs, EPCs, and Marginal Field Operators.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new high-value clients to expand the company’s customer base.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales and business development targets.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists to identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients.
- Monitor industry developments, new technologies, and OEM partner offerings to identify business opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence and support the preparation of tenders, proposals, reports, and presentations for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Develop customer engagement strategies, including Customer Intimacy Matrices and organizational account structures.
- Liaise with operators and industry stakeholders to obtain updates on major project tenders through Nipex and other channels.
- Generate and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and service work orders from assigned accounts.
- Maintain effective account management practices to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Submit weekly business development reports and market intelligence updates.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment for products and services supplied.
Requirements
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- MBA qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas sector, industry stakeholders, and market dynamics.
- Access to key industry contacts and decision-makers is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, plan effectively, and deliver results in a target-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and business intelligence gathering capabilities.
