A reputable organization in Lagos is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support its people management strategy and business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with management and department leaders to drive workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, performance management, and HR compliance. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional with strong employee relations and organizational development experience.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with department heads to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent management initiatives.
- Support leadership teams in improving employee productivity and overall performance.
- Contribute to organizational development and change management initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for both operational and corporate positions.
- Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure smooth employee integration.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines to meet future staffing requirements.
- Support employer branding and recruitment improvement initiatives.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters.
- Handle disciplinary procedures, grievances, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
- Advise managers on employee engagement and workplace best practices.
Performance Management and Development
- Coordinate performance review processes and employee goal-setting activities.
- Support managers in addressing performance challenges and implementing improvement plans.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend strategies for enhanced productivity.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee learning and development programs.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and internal company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management dashboards.
- Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist, HR Officer, or Human Resources Business Partner.
- Experience within the service, hospitality, FMCG, retail, logistics, or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
