Site Engineer
Job Description
A reputable construction company is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and support the successful delivery of projects within set timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, site management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.
Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N500,000 per month
Responsibilities
• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to facilitate smooth project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with quality assurance, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation for project tracking and management
• Monitor project schedules and assist in ensuring projects are completed within approved timelines and budgets
• Review engineering drawings and resolve technical issues that arise during construction activities
• Manage site resources, materials, and equipment to support efficient project delivery
• Enforce health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment on-site
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in construction site supervision and project execution
• Strong understanding of construction methods, site operations, and quality control procedures
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement construction drawings and technical specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant engineering software
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Professional certification will be considered an added advantage
