The company is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Sonographer to join its clinical team in Lagos. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong expertise in diagnostic ultrasound imaging and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Eti-Osa 3, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: N350,000 – N400,000 per month
Job Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the detection, diagnosis, and monitoring of medical conditions.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring optimal image quality.
• Analyze ultrasound images and identify normal and abnormal findings for reporting purposes.
• Prepare and submit accurate diagnostic reports to attending physicians.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper communication before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
• Adhere to established quality assurance standards, clinical protocols, and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Monitor equipment performance and report faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities and stay updated on advancements in sonography.
Job Requirements
Interested candidates should possess:
• A relevant qualification in Sonography, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
• A valid Sonography practicing license.
• 3–4 years of relevant work experience in diagnostic ultrasound practice.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, imaging techniques, and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
