Job Description

Recare Limited is seeking an experienced and results-oriented National Sales Manager to lead its nationwide sales operations. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution channels, managing high-performing sales teams, and strengthening relationships with key distributors and trade partners. The ideal candidate should have extensive FMCG sales experience and a proven ability to deliver outstanding business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national sales strategy to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
• Forecast demand, establish quarterly and annual sales KPIs, and monitor performance against budgets.
• Lead, coach, and manage regional sales managers, supervisors, and field sales representatives to build a high-performance sales culture.
• Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, modern trade outlets, and e-commerce partners to drive nationwide product availability.
• Expand market coverage across key regions including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, and emerging trade channels.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to improve in-store visibility, merchandising standards, and promotional execution.
• Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, promotional activities, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and market intelligence for executive management.
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC regulations and internal company policies and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. An MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of FMCG sales experience, including at least 5 years in a National Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager position.
• Experience in the beauty, hair care, or personal hygiene industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in growing distribution networks and managing annual sales portfolios exceeding ₦1 billion.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, distributor management, and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be based in Lagos.
