Job Description
Good Neighbours Microfinance Bank is recruiting a qualified and results-driven SME Officer to support business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and building a high-quality loan portfolio. The ideal candidate should have experience in SME banking, strong sales skills, and the ability to meet business development targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦250,000 Monthly

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the SME customer base.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients while meeting monthly and quarterly business goals.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding products, services, and account-related issues.
- Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios to ensure timely repayments and minimize credit risk.
- Prepare and submit daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly activity reports to management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
Job Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales or SME Banking within a financial institution.
- Proven ability to source, process, and close quality business loans.
- Strong knowledge of SME banking products and credit management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Salary
- ₦250,000 per month.
