Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a Business Relationship Manager to drive merchant acquisition, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth across Abia State. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in banking or fintech who can identify new business opportunities, promote financial products, and build lasting relationships with merchants.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive merchant acquisition through the promotion and sale of financial products and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective merchants.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging business opportunities.
- Organize and participate in trade fairs, community events, cluster marketing activities, and other promotional campaigns.
- Present financial products and services to potential customers and recommend suitable solutions based on their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and achieve sales objectives.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate market insights to relevant teams.
- Lead daily sales meetings, review performance, and plan weekly sales activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- 4–5 years of sales experience, preferably within banking, fintech, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of the local financial services market.
- Proven experience in merchant onboarding and relationship management.
- Experience selling lending solutions and merchant POS devices to corporate clients is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a resident of Abia State.
