Job Description

Horkey International Services Limited is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee and coordinate security operations across project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting personnel, facilities, equipment, and company assets while ensuring compliance with security policies, client requirements, and industry regulations. This role is ideal for a seasoned security professional with experience in the oil and gas, construction, marine, or industrial sector.

Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦500,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project security plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Supervise security personnel, contractors, and third-party security providers.
  • Coordinate access control for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
  • Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
  • Liaise with government security agencies, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies when required.
  • Develop emergency response and crisis management procedures.
  • Organize security awareness training for employees and contractors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Security Management, Criminology, Military Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant security management experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven experience in the oil & gas, marine, construction, dredging, or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian security regulations, security risk management, and emergency response procedures.
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, CSP, ISPON Security Certification, or equivalent are an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
