Job Description

PGE Travels and Education Consulting is hiring a Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day operations of its Travel and Education teams. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while driving business growth.

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Manager in overseeing daily operations across the Travel and Education teams.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement strategies to improve service delivery.
  • Ensure timely processing of travel bookings, visa applications, admissions, and related client services.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain high service standards.
  • Coordinate with airlines, embassies, educational institutions, and business partners.
  • Prepare operational reports and support strategic planning initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Travel & Tourism, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of travel operations, visa processing, and international admissions is an added advantage.
